The biggest offense against God is pride. For a created thing to deny its need for its creator leads to the unforgivable sin. This is what got Satan booted from heaven and it will keep you and I from getting there. If we take a moment to reflect upon what all is beyond our control (which is mostly everything), it will remind us to be humble and to seek God for our provision.
