“Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned.”
Isaiah 43:1-2
This promise is amazing! I’d seen this before, but it jumped off the page this morning. God knows us by name! And he never promises that we won’t have problems, but he promises to be there with us. He has redeemed us; we belong to him. If I’m a child of the King, I have nothing to fear!
