Who is the Dayspring Trio?

The Dayspring Trio is a contemporary southern gospel trio based out of Americus, GA. Brothers David and Michael Luten along with long-time friend Jason Ross form one of the tightest blends of harmony you'll hear this side of heaven. A part-time ministry; Dayspring prioritizes active engagement with their families and in the local church while sharing their gift of music with the wider world on select weekends each month. Their mission is to proclaim this gospel faithfully—in  the home, in the workplace, in the church, and from the stage—using music as a means to glorify Christ and point others to Him.

Consider hosting a concert!

It's our passion to present the Gospel message through music in a way that uplifts, encourages, and draws people closer to Christ. You can partner with us in this mission by hosting a concert.

As an added bonus, a portion of the proceeds can go to support a ministry or program close to your heart. It’s a powerful way to combine worship, fellowship, and mission—all in one evening!

We are also available for Sunday morning services, revivals, and other community events.

What can you expect?

🎚️ Load-in & Sound-check

  • We prefer to arrive about three hours before doors open (this allows time for equipment setup, sound check, and preparation before guests arrive).

  • Please ensure the heating/air conditioning system is set and running early so the room is comfortable for attendees when doors open.

  • We will provide our own sound equipment. No access to the house system is required.

  • We will clear the stage of pulpit and furniture during setup. (If this should not be done, please let us know in advance.)

  • We will set up a product table near the lobby, or in the case of a meal, in the fellowship hall.

  • A secure and private space will be needed for changing clothes and storing personal items during the event.

🎶 Music & Ministry

  • People come expecting to hear us sing, not preach — so, while we gladly lift up the name of Jesus in both word and song, we strive to let the lyrics of our music proclaim the message as much as possible.

  • Our concerts are lighthearted and fun, filled with humor and camaraderie, while always remaining reverent to the message of the music.

  • The sound level is carefully balanced: loud enough for the audience to feel comfortable singing along, but never so loud that it causes physical discomfort.

  • We are accustomed to presenting programs of about one hour, but can adjust for longer or shorter sets as needed.

  • A dedicated time of invitation will be offered near the end of the service, either led by us or by the local pastor.

  • We will take a few moments to share about our ministry and invite the audience to partner with us financially prior to the love offering.

🤝 Partnership & Support

  • The Dayspring Trio relies on the generous voluntary support of churches and individuals who partner with us financially.

  • If you are bringing us in for special music or entertainment, we ask that you prayerfully consider your budget and contribute accordingly to our ministry.

  • Churches may also choose to host a concert as a partnership, with a portion of proceeds directed toward a ministry or program of their choice. In this case, support for both your ministry and ours will come directly from audience contributions or ticket sales.

  • We will take a few moments during each concert to share about our ministry and invite attendees to partner with us through a love offering.

  • We are comfortable presenting this request on our own behalf, but can defer to the pastor if preferred.

  • A product table with music, t-shirts, and tumblers will be available, giving attendees another way to support the ministry.

Concert Promotion Best Practices

Timeliness

  • Start promoting as early as possible — ideally 4–6 weeks before the concert, but even a few days of promotion is better than none.

  • Use multiple methods together (radio, email, social media, print) to reach the widest possible audience.

  • Share details repeatedly in the weeks leading up to the event (don’t assume one announcement is enough).

  • Always include who, what, when, where, and how (artist, venue, date, time, doors, ticket/love offering info, and contact details).

  • Remember: the more touchpoints people have with your event, the more likely they are to attend.

📻 Communication Channels

  • Radio: Still one of the most effective tools. Work with local Christian/gospel stations for commercial spots, free community announcements, and live mentions.

  • Email: Send 2–3 short reminders leading up to the event (three weeks out, two weeks out, and the week of). Encourage people to forward the message.

  • Social Media: Use Facebook events and posts to reach a broad audience. Post photos, details, and updates regularly. Paid “boosts” can extend reach cheaply.

  • Newspaper/Local Media: A small ad often comes with a free story. Submit photos and a press release so your event looks newsworthy.

  • Other Tools: Signs, church marquees, postcards, and word of mouth can all be highly effective when used together.

🙌 Hosting Tips

  • Make guests feel welcome: have greeters at the doors, ushers ready to assist, and staff available for questions.

  • Manage perception: only set out extra chairs as needed so the crowd feels full and exciting.

  • Use your church screens or bulletins to advertise the concert and future events.

  • Collect attendee contact info (sign-up sheet for name, email, phone) so you can invite them to future concerts.

  • Partner with local radio or ministries as co-sponsors — they may provide free promotion in exchange for a presence at the event.

Promotional Posters

Don’t underestimate the power of a simple poster. Place them in the highest-traffic spots around town — grocery stores, restaurants, discount and department stores, gas stations, convenience stores, and Christian bookstores are great places to start. Always ask permission first.

Put posters out 3–4 weeks before the event for the best results, but even if time is short, get them up anyway. People will notice, and you’ll be surprised how many attend because they saw a flyer in their daily routine.

Promotional Photos

Want to design your own poster or flyer for your event?

We encourage you to use any of the promotional photos below! They’re free for you to download and include in your church bulletins, posters, social media, or other publicity.
