This was true of God’s people long ago and it’s true of many people today. Many people claim to be Christians, but they either ignore or don’t know what’s in the Bible. They will outright disagree with clear biblical teaching and it’s detrimental to their faith. Sometimes God’s word contains some hard truth and we have to decide if we’re going to follow it or just pick out the parts the we like. We need to obey the whole thing, not just the convenient parts.
